The High Court has adjourned a case of sexual harassment filed against a former manager of Atlantic Bank, Ernest Kwasi Nimako, and the bank itself by a National Service Person, Deborah Seyram Adablah, to February 23, 2023.
The court today, presided over by Justice Olivia Obeng Owusu, has asked that both parties file their written submissions.
However, Atlantic Bank was included in the court writ for turning a blind eye to sexual harassment against female workers in the organization. The bank is pleased with the court’s decision to remove those writs defaming the bank.
A few months ago, news broke that a slay queen side chick had filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her married boyfriend, who was also her manager at her NSS job. This was after her manager, Mr. Ernest Kwasi Nimako, decided to take certain privileges away from her.
According to a leaked WhatsApp chat, the employer coerced the lady into a relationship even though she didn’t want to accept it because her employer was a married man.
However, when the lady agreed to date him, he promised her a lot of goodies.
Things started to get a bit messy in the relationship, and the man decided to pull out his monetary contributions to the relationship.
The lady, on the other hand, has issued him a court writ demanding payment of her rent arrears, car maintenance fees, monthly allowance arrears, money to start a business, and medical expenses.
