Peter Sedufia statement reads:

Sometimes, you wouldn’t know how expensive Ghana is until you visit another country.

Currently in what I can describe as a 5 star Hotel in Egypt, non-comparable to the La Palms, Labadis and the Royal Senchis, etc. It is called “Jolie Ville”.

Standard room is 802 Egyptian pounds, equivalent to about $51 or Ghc 357 a night.

Meanwhile, same standard room, and even smaller than this one is $200 minimum for any hotel close to this one in Ghana. Thus; Ghc 1,400+ per night!
Oh, Peduase Valley is Ghc 1,500+ a night for standard.

Executive suite with a private swimming pool and garden is what costs $200 in this hotel. I’m sure Ghanaian hotels would charge $1,000+ for same.

How do we ever attract tourists in large numbers with this kind of expensive hospitality?

It is very well with our souls…

  1. Your lifestyle is dictating your expenses and again there are a lot of better hotels in Ghana with lesser prices to go by but you decide to go by big time hotels to project your film making and you want to blame Ghana for going in for big things which cost everywhere you go the world over
