“Initially I wanted to be a journalist, but growing up, when people see me singing in church or rapping in school, everyone is like, I have goosebumps, you are so talented, so entertainment kind of swayed me away,” she disclosed.

Despite being born into the music industry and starting to perform at a young age, the “King of Queens” rapper says she has no plans to pursue a career in music.

“I think I was born with music; music has been part of my whole life and I never thought I’d be a musician even though music has been a part of my whole life,” she told the hosts of the show.

When asked if she still intended to stick with her initial professional path, Eno said that she had already gained expertise in the media industry.

“Yeah, I think so… I hosted a show for a year on Adom FM. I did the “Kasahari” program on Adom,” she pointed out.

Eno Barony, who recently released the single “Only Jah,” demonstrates another aspect of her vocal range in the song.

“It’s news, it’s different. I did 80% of the singing in there, and most people don’t know me for my singing abilities. Even though I wanted to stand out with my rap, I don’t want to put myself in a box.” she added.

To everyone’s pleasure, Barony, who defeated Sarkodie, Medikal, Joey B, and Amerado to win the 2021 VGMA Best Rap Artiste of the Year award, offered viewers a taste of her presenting skills to prove her earlier assertions that she wanted to be a journalist.
