I Have Named Two Of My Children After Shatta Wale and Sarkodie – Nana Kwaku Bonsam Reveals

A well-known Ghanaian fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has revealed that he named two of his children after Shatta Wale and Sarkodie out of his admiration for the musicians.

The Fetish priest Stephen Osei Mensah, popularly known as Nana Kwaku Bonsam, Bonsam an Akan word literally translates “Satan” in English.

As a means to convey admiration to some outstanding personalities, most people in Africa honor their loved ones by naming their children after them. Nana Kwaku Bonsam has affirmed this belief by naming two of his children, Yaa Shatta Bonsam and Sark Bonsam after the veteran Ghanaian musicians Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.

“It’s a done deal it is on their birth certificate. I can show it to you immediately from my phone.” He revealed this in an interview with Onua FM’s Anigye mmere program.

He also said Shatta Wale’s “I know my level,” Stonebwoy’s “Putu,” and Sarkodie’s “Saara” are among his other top songs.

“I’ve only met a few musicians In Nkoranza during a program, I met Daddy Lumba and Samini, who I later met in America. Shatta and Sarkodie are two artists I’d want to meet”.Nana Kwaku Bonsam said.
