Interior Minister Declares Friday April 7 and Monday April 10 Holidays

Ambrose Dery, the Interior minister, has declared Friday and Monday to be public holidays.

This is to commemorate Good Friday and Easter Monday. On April 2, a statement made this announcement.

The statement said, “The general public is hereby informed that Friday, April 7 2023 and Monday, 10^th April 2023 which mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively, are statutory public holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.”
