John Dumelo Contests the Ayawaso West Wuogon Position Once Again

Actor John Dumelo has declared that he will participate in the opposition National Democratic Party (NDP) parliamentary primaries for the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency.

The NDC has started nomination processes around the country in anticipation of the 2024 elections.

Following some thought, the actor Kum Farmer declared in a tweet on Sunday that he will be making a comeback.

“After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming,” he tweeted.

He was defeated by Lydia Alhassan of the NPP in the hotly contested 2020 election, which ended his hopes of becoming a member of parliament.

Compared to Lydia Alhassan, who received 39,8521 votes, Dumelo received 37,778 votes.
