Actor and Politician, John Dumelo has Launched Operation Feed Ourselves for production of Rice, Tomatoes and Onion to reduce Importation.

The Ghana Cedi is fast depreciating against the Us Dollar as a result of excessive import and Mr Dumelo who is now into full time farming has proposed a viable solution to the problem.
According to him, if Ghanaians can locally produce Rice, which obviously is among the most imported product in Ghana, we can help save the situation.

Farmer John as he calls himself intends to produce more foodstuff especially Rice from the Guan District and Northern parts of Ghana.
He urged the citizens of Ghana to welcome the initiative and also attempt adding value to their farm produce.
Farmer John plans to reduce importation of such locally produced goods by 50% in 6 years with the Operation Feed Ourselves initiative.
