Christian Atsu after his demise has caused many heartbreaks among the Ghanaian football fraternity from players to coaches and former players paying their last respect to him via social media posts and family visit.
On Sunday, February 19, 2023, Kudus Mohammed scored a fantastic free kick goal for his club team Ajax, against Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherland’s Eredivise league.

Celebrating the goal, Kudus unveiled a tribute message on his under shirt that reads R.I.P CHRISTIAN ATSU.
The midfielder dedicated the goal to Christian Atsu.
