Manchester United’s official Twitter account responded to iconic Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah after she called the dominant English team the love of her life.
Nana Aba Anamoah is a fervent follower of Manchester United, and she never misses an opportunity to poke fun at supporters of other teams, especially the more established teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea.
Yesterday, August 6, saw the start of the 2022–2023 English Premier League, which featured intriguing results at the end of the day.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson departed the team in May 2013, Manchester United has struggled, and last season was another failure for the team.
The team responded by wishing her and all of its Ghanaian supporters well.
Nana Aba’s relationship with the team soured when she was accused in 2015 of stealing photos of Manchester United and faking that she was watching the match live station while she was in ghana.
While her tweets appeared to prove that she was in England at the time (her location was on), the veracity of those photographs sparked debate as some Twitter users, including the alleged true owners of the pictures, claimed that she was lying about being there.
