Messi At It Again As He Breaks Ronaldo’s Record After Scoring In PSG’s Win

The World champion Lionel Messi of Paris Saint Germain has surpassed his enduring adversary Cristiano Ronaldo’s record. For the most goals scored in Europe’s top five divisions(EPL, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, and Serie A).

 Messi outscored Ronaldo for the club’s second goal in PSG’s 3-1 victory over Montpellier on Wednesday.

After spending his whole senior professional career in Europe’s top five leagues, the Argentina captain scored his 697th club goal.

While playing 84 fewer games than Portugal’s captain, the former captain of Barcelona surpassed Ronaldo’s total of 696 goals.
