Nigeria 2023 Elections: “I’m Already Used to Threats!” – Mr. Macaroni Speaks Out

Nigerian comedian and social media star Mr. Macaroni has reportedly received a death threat because of his recent campaigning against injustice in the country.

The comedian, whose real name is Debo Adebayo, is well known for his advocacy and participation in the EndSARS rallies that were held in Nigeria in 2020 in addition to his highly-liked social media skits.

Mr. Macaroni claimed in a tweet on February 27 that he had received a death threat as a result of his activism.

He wrote, “I’m already used to threats! I have a record of all threats I have received, I also have recorded calls and messages of Powerful politicians and their children that have ever reached out to me!!! I always said NO! Because as long as I still dey, There shall be NO COMPROMISE!!!.”

After receiving a life threat, Mr. Macaroni has gotten an outpouring of support from followers and other activists who have denounced the danger and urged the police to protect him.
