The beautiful and astute Nigerian and the executive program coordinator for Dynamic initiative for Health and Human Rights, Mystique, shares her sad story of her experience as a transgender with BBC News pidgin.
She shares how she was literally beaten and casted out by her family members for years and the kind of discrimination she faced as a transgender and no one seems to help her out of such predicament.
She also shared that, transgenders do exist and the society must embrace such ones who seem simile different from the norm.
Mystique, fortunately, has gotten married happily and she is leveraging on her advocacy platform to create more awareness about transgender.
