Wayoe Engineering & Construction Limited (W.E.C) has been granted by Contracta Costruzioni Italia to do painting, transportation, and erection of 1700+ tons of structural steel, roofing, and cladding works in the contract related to the Rebuiding of Takoradi Market Circle.
W.E.C is an Engineering and construction company located in Ewusiedwo -Takoradi which provides specialist Mechanical Engineering Services.
The company made the announcement on their Facebook timeline on Friday, February 25 that they are partnering with Contracta Costruzioni to reconstruct the Takoradi Market Circle.

The painting will be done with WEC’s modern shot-blasting and painting facility located at its newly constructed ultramodern base, in Takoradi.
THE RECONSTRUCTION OF TAKORADI MARKET CIRCLE
The Takoradi Market Circle redevelopment project in the Western Region of Ghana executed by Messrs Contracta Costruzioni Italia SLR, is estimated to cost €48 million and is financed by an export credit from the Deutsche Bank S.p. An Italy, with export credit guarantees support from SACE, the Italian export guarantee agency and it is expected to be completed within 30 calendar months.
According the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, the new Takoradi Market Circle when completed would reduce traffic congestion in the Central Business District of Takoradi and its surrounding areas by providing on-site bulk breaking facilities to take such activities off the main Market Circle Road.
