It was later reported by Hatyspor vice-president, Mustafa Ozat that the Football player with his other team mates have been rescued and transferred to hospital for treatment.

However, Hateyspor club doctor, Gurbey Kahveci, and Atsu’s agent, Nana Sechere, have since spoken out to say the 31-year-old has still not been located.
Kahveci said: “When we heard the news that he was taken to Dortyol Hospital, we especially went and looked but he was not there.
“At the moment, we accept that Savut Taner and Christian Atsu were not found [on Monday night], unfortunately.”
“We are doing everything we can to locate Christian,” said Sechere.

As fear remains over the wellbeing of Christian, Bongo Ideas tweeting, claims Ghanaians can accept that Christian Atsu couldn’t survived.
