World Cup: France beats Poland To Advance To The Next Stage(Highlights)

By defeating Poland 3-1, France advanced to the World Cup quarterfinals; Olivier Giroud, who scored the opening goal, set a new French men’s goal record.

Five goals have already been scored in Qatar thanks to a second-half double from Kylian Mbappe and a late penalty from Robert Lewandowski of Poland.

Giroud’s first-half goal (44) helped propel Les Bleus to a last-16 triumph in Doha and set up a quarterfinal matchup against either England or Senegal. Giroud’s 52nd goal for France broke Thierry Henry’s record.
